Contact Kath Bentley

Kath Bentley is a Turfgrass Agronomist with the STRI with over 10 years experience of the Turfgrass Industry.  She first joined the STRI as a student in 1994 and completed a 1-year work placement but then returned as a Research Officer in the Pesticide Evaluation Department in 1997 where she was responsible for the planning and implementation of all commercial trials.

In 2001 she left the STRI and spent 7 years working as a Sportsturf Construction Consultant for a small consultancy specialising in the construction and maintenance of sports pitches.  As well as completing a large number of feasibility studies and specifications for sports clubs and schools across the North of England, she also developed skills in surveying and using Computer Aided Design packages.

Kath is also a keen sports woman and until recently played hockey.  She has now decided to concentrate on her running and has recently completed her 3rd Great North Run.
