Steve is responsible for STRI activities throughout Southern England and South Wales, including the work of the four other agronomists. Steve has relocated his advisory area to the South West and South Wales from the Thames Valley Area, where he has been working for the past four years. Before joining the STRI Agronomy team Steve was Programme Area Manager - Horticulture at Berkshire College of Agriculture. He was responsible for the development and delivery of Greenkeeping programmes. He acted as project manager for the Construction of a 6-Hole Greenkeeping Academy. Steve has also spent a short period of time as Product Development Manager for Samma International Limited, a company supplying fertilisers. Earlier in his career Steve was Personnel and Training Manager for one of the country's leading Garden Centres. Steve is a keen Yachtsman with his own boat on the South Coast. Other interests include walking, photography and occasionally golf! Steve and his wife both actively attend a local Baptist Church. |
Relevant Experience:Steve has made advisory visits to many large venues and leading Golf and Sports clubs as detailed above. He also had involvement in many small scale construction projects and the growing in of larger projects. Speciality Areas:
