Adrian joined Turf Irrigation Services (Sandbach) in 1996 where he trained and specialised in irrigation design. Following expansion of Robin Hume Associates in 1997, Adrian joined as a design consultant pursuing projects both in the UK and Abroad. Since 1998 Adrian has been employed as an Irrigation Specialist and Associate Consultant to STRI. Adrian has 7 years experience in the sports turf and landscape irrigation industry where he has been involved in all aspects of the industry including system design, water management, project management, consultancy and education. Adrian has also developed the use of GPS mapping equipment to produce accurate as built drawings of irrigation systems, mainly golf courses, which provide a management plan for use by the Club. Adrian is currently responsible for the design of irrigation systems and contract supervision / project management during installation works. |

Robin has 38 years experience in the horticultural and turf irrigation industry involved in all aspects of the industry including sales, design, technical management, contracting, project management, consultancy and education. Robin Hume Associates was founded in 1991 to meet the ever-increasing demand for expert advice on all aspects of sports turf and landscape irrigation. Since 1998 Robin has been employed as an Irrigation Specialist and Associate Consultant for STRI. Robin is a leading member of the British Turf and Landscape Irrigation Association and has acted as its Chairman for two years. He has been responsible for the development and implementation of the Association's education programme. Robin is currently responsible for the management of design systems, project management and technical support on irrigation works. He has been responsible for the design and installation of irrigations systems for a number of high profile sports venues including Lords Cricket Ground, Manchester Stadium, St Andrews Links Course, Twickenham, Ascot and Wimbledon. |

Iain’s expertise is based upon extensive practical site management, contact supervision and contract administration. Having successfully run his own golf project management company, Iain’s work has taken him across Europe to Turkey, Portugal, Germany and France where he project managed the prestigious ‘Four Seasons’ complex. He has also overseen the inputting and commissioning of a wide range of irrigation systems. Notable projects include Open Qualifiers Kilmarnock Barassie Golf Club, North Berwick Golf Club, the new build Dunlaoghaire Golf Club in Ireland, Ascot Racecourse and Borough of Bromley and Borough of Cheltenham sports pitches. |

Michael Martin, formerly of York & Martin has recently joined the team at RHA bringing a depth of knowledge and experience of work in the industry both, at home and in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. |

Stuart has considerable experience in landscaping and land restoration works having worked on major projects with Local Authorities and a landscape contractor. For 19 years he worked as a Construction Specialist at the STRI and, as well as being involved in a number of high profile facilities such as Chelsea FC, was foremost in developing STRI procedures to deal with the ever increasing complexity of Contractual Health and Safety requirements. He left the STRI in 1998 to set up his own company, Stuart Pool Consultancy Ltd. He now works independently in a very effective role as an Associate Consultant and has undertaken a large number of projects in this capacity. Stuart is a member of the Association of Planning Supervisors and the Institute of Horticulture. |

David Hemstock is a qualified Agronomist and Soil & Water Engineer, a Senior Member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects, and Member of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers. He is currently involved in a range of golf and sports consultancy work throughout the UK and abroad, and the development of STRI services overseas. David has been involved in sports and golf design and development for 25 years, at the highest level. With the STRI Construction team, he has carried out design work for the major upgrading project at Royal Ascot, concept design for the 7th course at St Andrew’s for the Links Trust, support on the FA National Football Centre, development work on sports pitch lighting and various projects in Romania; new surfaces for horse-racing, and is currently engaged in golf club upgrading work, consultancy to several major civil engineering companies, and development work on cricket and services in India. His golf course design company has received several accolades recently, with the new course ‘Aamby Valley’ in India being voted the best in the country in 2005, runner-up at the Asia Pacific Golf Summit in 2009. His new course in Yorkshire, Flaxby Park, is proposed as a Ryder Cup venue in 2022, and the 13th hole at the Korineum GC in Cyprus has been called ‘….one of the best in the world’. Current golf and sports work includes design consultancy on the Commonwealth Games Rugby 7’s pitches in Delhi, 2010; strategic development planning for the All India Football Federation, and golf design work in Nigeria, Portugal, and for UK Coal in England. |
