Sustainable Drainage

"The overwhelming consensus of scientists across the world is that climate change is real and is man-made and is happening."

Ed Miliband, Energy & Climate Change Secretary

STRI's new sustainable drainage services have been developed as a response to the growing concern regarding the tangible effects of climate change specifically facing sports facilities today.

In order to maintain the playability of your golf club or sports ground throughout the wettest Winters and hottest Summers,  there is now a greater need for effective and ecologically sound water management to be established on site.

To this end, specialists within our Design, Environmental & Research departments have been working together to provide innovative, practical and cost effective solutions.

Our focus has been on developing strategies to minimise surface damage from the risks of flooding and effectively guarding against the potential for contaminated water.
